She negotiated high priority water, sewer, and construction contracts for the Mayor’s Office on behalf and at the direction of the Mayor and Board of Alderman. She represented the City at citizen outreach meetings and Task Force meetings, County Council and Planning Boards, and inter-governmental boards and state commissions; managed projects to ensure schedule, budget, and goals were met on major capital projects, including pipelines, well permitting/construction, long term planning for new water sources and storage, water and wastewater treatment plant expansions, and potential river water augmentation; obtained necessary permits with the Army Corps of Engineers and Department of the Environment and maintained multi-level working relationships with these agencies; negotiated long term goals and policies for water and wastewater projects with local stakeholders and regulatory agencies, including grant management.
